Pune, June 6, 2017:  As part of the ongoing 150 years’ celebrations at St. Vincent’s High School, Fr Schoch Inter Batch Sports Tournament was held recently in Pune.

The tournament comprised of different batches that have passed out from St. Vincent’s High School over the years. 32 Football and 10 Basketball teams participated in the tournament. A friendly game of Football and Basketball match for the former students of St. Vincent’s and Loyola High School was also organised to reignite a healthy relationship of sports between these sister institutes.

The newly constructed basketball court played host to the tournament. The tournament was organised and conducted by St. Vincent’s High School with the support of former students.

Over the weekend around 1000+ Vincentian family members attended the event. The former students enjoyed playing as it gave them an opportunity to bond with other batch mates over a game of football and basketball.

Batch of 1988 was the oldest team to participate in football while Fr Andrew Fernandes was the oldest player to play in the tournament.
