We all know that Pune was once called ‘The Oxford of the East’ due to its large number of educational institutes. The city yielded the highest number of graduates and post graduates in the state and we still see that the majority of the population is students, many of whom are non-Pune residents. On a similar note, what many may not know is that Pune is also the preferred residence for many authors. The greenery, peace and relaxed pace of the city attract writers and creative folks all around to come and settle down here. Here are five authors you may have seen on Crossword’s best-seller lists but would not have known that they are Punekars themselves:1.
1. Sonja Chandrachud:
