PUNE: According to a study conducted by property consulting and research company, Anarock, Pune’s Koregaon Park has been ranked at number eight in India’s top ten most expensive areas to live in!
The study was mostly conducted based on huge apartments which are considered luxury homes.
Koregaon Park’s average rate is INR 12,500/- per sq. ft. Not included in the list are Kothrud and Kalyani Nagar, coming close at Rs. 11,000/- psf and Rs. 10,600/- psf respectively.
Other areas in the list include Tardeo (number one), Worli, Mahalaxmi (all Mumbai) Numgambakkam, Egmore and Anna Nagar (all Chennai), Karol Bagh and Golf Course Road (both NCR) and Alipore in Kolkata.
A lot of Koregaon Park’s residential properties boast of large residents and latest amenities. The upmarket locality is close to the IT Hub of Kalyani Nagar as well as close enough to the airport.
