Khatri Bandhu Pot Ice Cream is Pune’s Summer Goals

Pune does not lack ice cream parlors, in fact, today we have more places selling varieties of ice creams than we had in the past couple of years. However, let me take you away from the popular brands and chains for just a bit; away from the artificial flavours and synthetic chemicals, our traditional pot ice cream is rapidly gaining popularity again. All thanks to the Khatri brothers.

The Khatri Brothers started their ice cream endeavours quite modestly. Two decades ago, they decided to make and sell ice cream which was delicious, homemade, and devoid of any harmful additives. Soon enough, Mastani was added to the menu and it’s been a tremendously positive journey for the Khatri Bandhus.

Their first ice cream stall started near Vitthal Mandir, Rajaram Bridge. I remember my school days, especially summer vacations when I used to drive my bicycle at night once a week for a scoop of their ice cream. Fond memories, I can almost taste the creamy flavor again.

The ice cream in itself is beyond delicious; it goes without saying that you can’t resist having more than one scoop. Their mawa ice cream and gulkand mastani are sheer love. The peru, sitafal, dry fruit, and mango ice creams are all delicacies.

Don’t worry about your ice cream cravings after a late dinner; Khatri Ice Cream is open until 12 am! Some might say (including me) that their quantity has lessened over the years, but then again, so many restaurants and eateries have done the same!

Khatri Ice Cream is the go-to place for authentic pot ice creams in Pune. Their prices depend on whether it’s a single or double scoop, varying from INR 30 busk to, going up to INR 120. Their Mastani ranges from INR 75-150/-

All in all, Khatri Ice Cream is the solution to all your dessert problems. Skip the factory manufactured ice creams for tonight and head over to these guys for a try. No disappointments, I promise you! The brand is now available in multiple locations across the city – Karve Nagar, Kothrud, Bibvewadi, Sinhagad Road and Balewadi.
