Today, the Pune centre was launched at the hands of David Dhawan, and Shashi Ranjan in the presence of Nandan Gijare & Shruti Gijare, Directors for the Pune centre and Maithili Page Centre Head for Pune centre and other guests and dignitaries.
ITA School of Performing Arts has now expanded its horizons in five more cities, Pune being the prominent one. Pune centre is spearheaded by Mr. Nandan Gijare who is confident that the centre will do extremely well.
Speaking at the occasion Mr. Nandan Gijare said, “Pune has a tremendous student population and is popularly known as the Oxford of the East. History has it that great Bollywood actors have come to Pune at the iconic FTII to graduate and make a mark for themselves and Pune is the preferred destination for acting and theatre.”
“Talent is in abundance in Pune which is a great city with its rich culture and theatre influence. We are confident that with the inflow of students and talent, we will have students who will make a mark for themselves.” He further added.
The Indian Television Academy’s roots deeply grounded in Industry our esteemed Governing Council Consists of Mr. J P Datta, Mr. David Dhavan, Mr. Gulshan Grover, Ms. Raveena Tondon, Ms. Mahima Chaudhary, Mr. Roop Kumar Rathore and Ms. AlkaYagnik.
“The Institution takes it a notch higher as they have some of the finest and renowned Indian masters of various performing arts to impart training in the streams of Acting, Dancing, Singing, Modelling and Image Grooming. Maithili Page further added saying, “The Institutes Vision and Mission include providing ideal launch pads for young aspirants into the TV and Bollywood verticals.
