Swar Zankar Music Festival
Encouraged and inspired by the consistent good success in music sphere for last 63 years, we have launched that we owe to our Gurus with the utmost reverence, the duos have taken unto ourselves the duty of perpetuating the fond memory of Guru as by conceptulizing ‘SHREE GURU SMARANAM’ project at Sahakarnagar, where we propose to create state of the art facility for imbibing music. The Project is an extention of ‘Upadhye’s Violin Vadan Vidyalaya’ operating at 112, Uma Shankar, Sahakarnagar-2 Pune-411009.

Bliss of Nature
Artist Sailash Sonawane has adopted two different methods to paint landscapes. You will appreciate, 1) the traditional style of painting a landscape in watercolor with discipline, 2) paint with a spontaneous feelings, be passionate while painting the subject to give my personal reflection. The love for painting has taken him to places. A lot of paintings, in this show depict the scenes from Konkan, Kerala,interiors of Maharashtra and also cityscapes of Pune.

4th Indian Students Parliament
Mission of Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) is to mobilize the Student Union Leaders of India to come together on a single platform with a view to entering public life and bringing about a positive change in the leadership of the country. This will be done by regularly convening parliament of student leaders at national and state levels in collaboration with the state legislative assemblies and by exposing the leaders to eminent personalities of repute, who will guide them in this endeavour.

Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world – (Martin Luther). 8 hours of nonstop music for 2 days of various genres on one stage and on one place with the best emerging bands lineup of the country along with metal giants Halahkuh and System House 33. Halahkuh is a four piece Death/ thrash metal band from Pune, India formed in January 2011. Being the first metal band to emerge from the small Indian town of Nagpur, SystemHouse33 shifted base to Mumbai and has built a career that has been inspired by the evolution of Heavy Metal over the past decades. Paratra is an Indie band formed early 2012 and is based in Mumbai, India. The music style comprises an eclectic mix of progressive, global, fusion-rock merged with Indian classical. What Google Can’t Find is a hard rock band from Pune. Driven by Grunge,It is the only Grunge band in Pune who is pulling out the grunge Scene and many more.

Runathon of Hope 2014
Runathon of Hope is a “Half Marathon” organized by ‘Rotary Club of Nigdi Pune Charitable Trust’ and is recognized as a State Level Event, by the Maharashtra Athletic Association. This is the fourth consecutive year of organizing this event. The race route is a highly visible road track in PCMC area which is one of the largest and fastest growing Industrial, Educational and Residential suburbs in our country.
The event is the biggest of its kind in this area, attracting participation from schools & Industries of about 10000 persons and & a similar number of spectators.
There are various categories of races suitable for each age group & includes a Charity Run for the Corporate participants.
