The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) is in talks with the PCMC and industries in the area to set up a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) to treat the 6 lakh litre of industrial effluents generated daily from nearly 296 small-scale industries in the area.
