Sprawled over 14,000 sqm, the all new INR 50 Crore Pune Municipal Corporation building was inaugurated by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu last week!
The special attraction of the new building is its 72 sqft radius with all types of modern facilities.
It took about three years to erect the entire structure and will house 224 elected members of the PMC whereas the spectators gallery will hold up to 180 people. Up to a total of 100 officers and journalists can be seated as well.
According to officials, the building will have bank ATMs, a post office, various halls for meetings, a PMPML bus corridor and a single window system. There are vast spaces for parking along with a waiting lounge for citizens.
The old PMC building was built in 1960.
All the very best from us, PMC!
