New Early Learning Programs launched
Responding to the needs of providing exposure to new trends in education in the present global scenario, Kaveri Group of Institutes, a leading educational Group in Pune launched new academic initiatives in Early Childhood Education through Kaveri Institute of Education, Gifted Education through Kaveri Gifted Education Center and in Arts & Culture through Kaveri Kalakshetra.
Programs in these novel initiatives were formally launched by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, an eminent scientist. Mrs. Malati Kalmadi (Secretary – Kannada Sangha) spoke about the Kaveri Group being a learner-centric organisation which strives to create a safe environment for their students to promote creativity and innovation. Mrs. Pallavi Mukhedkar, Ms. Sameena Manaswala and Shri. Pushkar Lele introduced the programmes of Kaveri Institute of Education, Kaveri Gifted Education Center and Kaveri Kalakshetra respectively.
As a part of the launch ceremony, Dr. Mashelkar delivered a special lecture on the “Quality & Innovative Education in India: Challenges & Opportunities”. He said that the most important equation today is E=F; i.e. Education=Future. Dr. Mashelkar said, ”From Right to Education, we have to move to right education and education for all. Learning, Doing and Being are the three educational aspects that need to be given importance corresponding to observation, analysis and synthesis of knowledge.” Dr. Mashelkar said that India’s driving power is going to be the IT sector, where IT stands for Indian Talent. He expressed confidence that organisations like the Kaveri Group of Institutes would steer education in the right direction. On this occasion, he also launched the Golden Jubilee Photo Book encapsulating the 50 years journey of Kaveri Group of Institutes in the field of education.
