The pandemic has played a real spoilsport this year. Especially for children, who have been forced to stay indoors, with no playtime and friends. And now that Christmas is around the corner, everyone is hoping for some merriment. To spread a little cheer around town, LiL’Goodness, a kids food & nutrition startup has decided to turn Secret Santa for children of Pune.
On this Christmas eve, the LiL’Goodness team of young volunteers will travel around town to drop healthy chocolates outside the houses of children across the city. LiL’ Goodness has recently launched India’s first ‘prebiotic’ chocolate which helps to activate healthy bacteria in the gut and improve absorption of essential minerals and vitamins, so as to improve immunity among kids and even adults. “We thought of the Secret Santa idea specifically for Pune because we felt the need to end 2020 on a note of Goodness, we all know how much joy these little surprises can bring to children or to all of us. So, why not share a little goodness of health as gifts everywhere? That too in the city of Pune that is the epicenter of hope for vaccination for a significant majority in India next year” Share Harshavardhan & Pariksha, founders of LiL’Goodness.
The LiL’Goodness team will also play Secret Santa to underprivileged children. For this, the startup has tied up with NGOs to distribute chocolates to the children at various orphanages across the city on Christmas eve. Goodness is for everyone after all, as we enter 2021 on an optimistic note.
