Pune Airport Update –Authorities are claiming that Pune Airport might get International status by 2019. With the massive expansion plans being put into effect, Punekars might be able to experience more international flying from as early as the start of 2019.
FDA Attacks Famous Pune Eateries – In an unforeseeable twist of events, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) paid surprise visits to famous eateries on FC road. Vaishali, Rupali, Goodluck, and a few other names experienced surprise visits by FDA authorities. Various health and hygiene violations were observed and the authorities declared these places well below the expected standards.

City Lawyers Launch #FeeToo Campaign – Lawyers in Pune have started the #FeeToo campaign in order to demand proper fee from their clients. Many lawyers took to social media to express their disappointment and angst towards clients who exploit them off their fees and pay them really late, leading to steady mental harassment.
New App to Curb Traffic Violations – ‘Traffic Sahayak’, a new app created by Pune engineer Siddhant Malani, will now aim to assist responsible citizens in reporting cases of traffic violations. Punekars can now report cases and also earn some amount for their assistance.
