shia dating websites You are 16 and you’ve already performed with legends like AR Rahman, Louis Banks, and many more. How do you feel?
I was so excited when I got connected with Rahman Sir’s work. I really didn’t ever think about playing with him as I used to listen mostly to carnatic, classical and jazz music. So it was a great experience playing and performing with him. With him my experience was quite jazzy and musical.
Louis Banks Sir plays experimental, tricky music. So, that is interesting. That is the thing about jazz; it is free flowing and it comes from every jazz musician’s soul.

Music was already floating in the house as my dad is a bass guitarist and mom is a singer so my parents made my first bump to music. My first Concert was at the Age of 7 in Kolkata.

My inspiration is firstly is my guru, my dad Sujay Dey, mom Romia Dey, and Late U. Srinevas; his playing inspired me a lot in Karnatic music.

There is no specific time to practice but I try putting in 4 to 5 hrs a day. I just finished with my Class X examinations. I cope with studies and music quite efficiently. If one has the will, it’s not difficult to juggle!

It is hard to name one! There are many such artists whom I grew up listening to; U. Srinevas, Steve Vai, Scott Henderson, etc.

She has helped me a lot in music. We sisters practice together and share music. We have a band named “Generation” that consists of Mohini – bass guitarist, Gino Banks – drummer and myself – lead guitarist. We sisters will soon release our album!
