BottleRock, one of the newer restro-lounges in Pune, opened to the public not more than half a year ago and has been quite popular among youngsters. Given that its location is on the NH4 Mumbai-Pune highway near the Pashan-Sus road exit, it happens to be a good spot to catch up with friends from Pune, Pimpri, Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, etc.
Situated by the side of the road, BottleRock can be easily spotted even during night time. Even if you happen to miss it, the loud beats of music surely guide you to the right venue! They have ample parking space for both cars and motorcycles.
There are two separate sections, one called Nisarg, which is a family restaurant and the second is BottleRock. While Nisarg is more calm and quiet, BottleRock is the buzzing one where you can have a good time with friends. This section is further divided into three seating sections – Cabanas, Open Air Dining Area and Bar Seating.
BottleRock’s ambience can easily be given the stature of being one of the best in the city today. The place is decorated with bottles and lamps in different shapes, sizes and designs, and all of it is purely handmade. Yes, handmade! When you enter, you are greeted with a wide bar area with some more bottles arranged rather beautifully, and this time filled with your choice of poison. On the other side of the bar is a wall, which is neon painted and looks splendid with the sundowners. Beside this wall there is a foosball and a pool table, which you can compete on without having to pay any money. There’s a dance floor accompanied with a huge projector screen and a few TV sets here and there. There is good and comfortable seating arrangement throughout the restaurant. In no way does it feel crowded. There is good music playing in the background and the place has a happy vibe.
The bar menu is extensive and is known for its innovative drinks. It’s also very reasonably priced; a pint of beer costs 110 bucks! Yes, for that ambiance, the price is awesome! Their multi-cuisine food menu is cleverly drafted. Banjara Kebab, Reshmi Kebab and Loaded Nachos are good picks for starters, while for main course Chicken Nawabi is a must-try! All the dishes are provided in generous quantities and can easily serve two. .
The projector screens and TV sets are used for live screening of sports. Since the place is open till late night, late night matches can also be watched here along with few drinks and the company of friends. Most of the crowd that gathers here is fond of watching MotoGP races and football matches. However, during the live screening, the music doesn’t take a back foot and is playing full blast while the live screening devices are kept on mute.
BottleRock has already played host to a number of college freshers and farewell parties.
They have also hosted food festivals like “Around The World in 30 Days”, in which they served eight different international cuisines for a month in an exclusive menu.
All in all, BottleRock is a place that always gives out a happy Goa vibe! The staff is friendly and the service is decent. You can visit this place late in the night and have a good time with friends.
