Robocon, short for Robotic Contest, is an interesting game and intellectual exercise for budding engineers and their enthusiastic instructors. It is determined to innovate and create machines that produce desired results. Participation in this activity is an end-to-end competitive experience. It includes concept design of a system of robots programmed to perform according to rules of the game played on a high-precision technical contest area and to score a victory beating the competitors – all according to a theme declared by the host country.
International Robocons are mainly sponsored by the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), which includes Doordarshan (Prasarbharati) as a member. It has been organizing all activities in India for the last nine years, in collaboration with the MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, India.

La Tomatina: Jelly Balls Festival Season 4 – Charity Malin Gaon
This is a charity event held to support the victims of the Malin Gaon Incident.
The Malin village of Pune district, which was flattened by a landslide, hit the area on July 30, 2014. Because of the torrential rains, the village was washed away by the mud, taking with it the lives of the residents. Moreover, hundreds of them have gone missing, with the number still increasing.
