Mawa – ½ Kg

Peel the chickoos and puree them finely. Take the mawa in a kadai and stir-fry for a minute till it is soft. Then pass it through a sieve so that no lumps are found. Combine sugar, chickoo puree and mawa in a kadai and cook it on a slow fire until it becomes a thick mass. Remove the mix from fire. Put it in a greased flat plate and the spread evenly.
