Alibaba Ani Chalishitle Chor

A Marathi play based on story of people who are on the wrong side of their forties. They are at such a phase in their life where they have achieved almost all the clichéd goals that a middle class man or a woman is expected to achieve. Those goals may include starting a family, raising children, earning money and creating a comfortable social and financial cushion for their families. So the question is ‘what is left to do in life?’ Or there is fear amongst all these seven friends that nothing more romantic can or will happen in their lives now.

An Argentinian in Paris Christine Chareyron

Piano recitals by Christine Chareyron. Christine Chareyron studied piano at Conservatoire National de Région de Grenoble and Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. She then perfected her skills with Jean Fassina, and studied Dramatic Art at Chambéry and Grenoble. She is currently preparing: Spectacle Satie in German (Frankfurt 2013), The incredible Odyssey by Noémie Largoulette virtuoso pianist (Autumn 2013), Schubert recital à quatre mains with Tomoko Tateishi (France-Japan-Belgium). She is currently a Piano Professor at the Suresnes Conservatory. In 1999, she released a CD of music by George Gershwin.

Shade Of Blue–  A 5 piece Blues Rock band led by crooner Anika Doshi, who has worked with Leslie Lewis and Louis Banks.
Grounded For Good– A duo consisting of G2 on guitar and Kiran Amati on Vocals, belting out some Blues Rock hits from the 60’s and 70’s.
Silk– A Fusion band who mix the best of Western and Indian music very creatively for a truly enthralling aural experience.
Manefus– An Alternative Rock band from Gujarat. Winners of numerous college festivals. They will perform a mix of their originals and some covers of bands like RHCP and Pearl Jam.

Nava Gadi Nava Rajya

If the culmination of all love stories is marriage, here it is the other way round – marriage is the beginning of this love story. The play depicts the story of a four-month old married couple. Theirs is an arranged marriage and now the two are discovering the various facets of each other’s personalities. At times exciting, at times disappointing – the two are unraveling before each other. The entanglement of the couple is endearing and the estrangement – devastating. The evolving relationship between the two forms the basis of this family play.

Tuesday’s with Morrie

The play shows that a mother too has a right to live her own life. It shows what happens when a mother retires from her daily chores and decides to live her life on her terms. When a mother retires things go berserk, making us realize the importance of the position of a home-maker.
