Indian Sign Language Workshop

556

Ekansh Trust is organising a Sign Language workshop to break the barriers between the hearing and deaf people. The workshop aims to encourage people who can hear to communicate in a language that is the native tongue of the deaf. Sign language also helps those who are non verbal due to other challenges like Autism, etc. Students, teachers, corporate executives, parents and just about everyone who wants to come and learn sign language are cordially invited. This is a session full of fun and interactive learning.

Several such sessions have been conducted in the past by the trust. They also introduced Indian Sign Language to the Bishops (KN) students in a brief session during World Disability Day.
