The Pune Design Festival

The Pune Design Festival is a truly global platform and has earned accolades for its multi-dimensional traits of exploring diverse design & design led business segments. With every passing year the event has emerged as more thought and knowledge intensive, set in a heightened scale.
This Festival is a meeting point of design peers, thinkers, industry dignitaries with the purpose of looking and sharing the larger as well as finer context of design.  And we have had the privilege to host many renowned names in the design and allied fields, national and international.
This year’s theme,  ‘re·gen·er·ate, Creating a better future’, highlights design as a process that restores, renews and revitalizes peoples’ lives, our economy & businesses; as well as sources of energy and materials while creating sustainable systems that integrate the needs of society with the integrity of nature. We question this regenerative change today and the way it is changing our businesses, sustaining and regenerating an essence that supports and nourishes life. This festival intends to bring together several such thinkers & doers on an engaging platform to share and learn.
PDF 2013 will be proud to host Henri Christiaans – TU Delft, Nuru Karim – Live Architecture, Vinay Venkatraman – CIID, Priti Roa – IDEO, Amardeep Singh Behl – Design Habit, Markus Heinsdorf – Urban Mela, Ranjan Malik – Erehwon, Shanoo Bhatia – Eumo, Orjit Sen – People Tree, Abhishek Singh – Animation, Hemant Suthar – Fractalink, Utpal Pande – Pan Design, Amit Gulati – Incubis, Abhijit Bansod – Studio ABD, Mandar Kale & Aditi Deo  and several inspiring thinkers over a period of two engaging days.
