Seekh Kebabs are a Mughlai delicacy that have made their way into our hearts through our stomachs (and tastebuds). Simply put, the recipe is minced meat and onions, with a blend of spices added in which is cooked over an open coal pit or tandoor, served with mint chutney and chopped onions. Here are the best of them our beloved Pune has to offer. Protein, baby!
go to site Madinah Restaurant, Bhavani Peth
Go here for the food, not the ambience. The Kebabs are made on an open grill in front of you. Pocket-friendly food, quick service, perfect for a fun group meal!
go site Blue Nile, Camp
This place has been around for decades and boasts of a family-friendly environment. Their Mutton Seekh Kebab is one of the best sellers here. You probably already knew this, but just in case you didn’t, there’s no way you want to miss out on their Mutton/Chicken Biryani either.

The name has Kebab in it so we take the place quite seriously. They have two Seekhs for a 150 bucks. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, the taste definitely will. They have three outlets in the city, with very good reason.
follow George Restaurant, Camp
They serve the Persian kind of seekh kebab here along with the regular ones. Called Chello kebab and Chello Murg, which basically means Lamb or Chicken. They are succulent, accompanied with a grilled tomato and basmati rice. Yes, please!
see Bombay Brasserie, Nitesh Hub
The Kashmiri Naan Kebab here is AMAZING! It’s served on a saffron-brushed naan, accompined by a creamy yogurt dip. The portion is definitely good for two. On a side note, the decor here is so cool! More about the place right here.
here Shahi Daawat, Shivaji Market
The Seekh Kebab with the Tandoori Roti here is to die for. Not a fancy place but when the food is this good the ambience doesn’t really matter now, does it?

Limousine Seekh Kebab, that’s what it’s called, I kid you not. Unusual name, but great taste. If you are a fan of spicy food this place is for you. Easy on the pocket and great service!
These are our top picks for the best Seekh Kebabs in Pune. If you think we missed out any please feel free to let us know and we will try them out too.
Protein, baby! Oh wait, I already said that.
