The Creamiest Cheesecakes in Pune

If you dig into some Cheesecake history, you’ll find that the Romans get credit for inventing it (thank you, Romans, the world shall remain forever grateful). It wasn’t until 1912 that James Kraft, the founder of Kraft Foods, used cream cheese to prepare the Cheesecake we drool over today. And while there are numerous places in the city that serve some really amazing Cheesecakes, here are our favourites!

Lavender Crumb, Baner

This dessert parlour serves some of the creamiest Cheesecakes around. The Marble Chocolate Cheesecake has dark chocolate swirled with rich vanilla- a bite and you will be transported to dessert heaven.

LSD- Love Sugar & Dough, Shivaji Nagar

Charming French décor here with nothing but desserts to kill the pickiest of sugar cravings. Try the Tiramisu Cheesecake- it’s absolutely exemplary, to say the least!

Le Plaisir, Deccan Gymkhana

There isn’t a softer cheesecake available in a 5000 km radius. If you haven’t yet tried their Hazelnut Cheesecake, you’re majorly missing out on the cheesecake party almost every Punekar has attended. If you still have room for another one, go for the Mango Cheesecake- such yummy, much bliss!

Indulgence, Koregaon Park

This Austrian owned and operated joint is where you go for the freshest Cheesecakes. Try the Raspberry Cheesecake and thank me later.

The Ganache, Kothrud

Dig into their Blueberry Cheesecake with its crunchy crust and tart blueberry topping. Baked to perfection and not to forget, it’s pretty pocket-friendly too!

Wild Sugar Patisserie and Café, Viman Nagar

The Brownie Cheesecake is melt-in-your-mouth good! They managed to combine the tastes of a brownie and cheese to perfection.

La Gustosa, Kothrud

Casual dining done right. The Chocolate Cheesecake here is as decadent as it is delectable. Friendly staff and fast service- they hit all the right notes.

Mocha, Koregaon Park

This place serves a Rasmali Cheesecake, giving an Indian twist to this classic dessert. It is a beautifully plated dessert with finger-licking flavours to match.

Like they say- Life is short, eat the cake first. Or in this case, say CHEESE!
