Ah, the start-up life. The thing about start-ups that I think I love most is how disruptive they are, in a brilliant kind of way, of course. Start-ups, with their young blood, bright eyes and clear heads, emerge from obscurity, shoot right to the top and shake things up about the way we eat, work, play and live. Personally, I’ve always harboured a deep admiration for the start-up ecosystem as it stands today. Pune is at the heart of the start-up scene in India. And so, I bring to you a list of exciting Pune-based start-ups that I think are going to turn heads come 2017. Here they are!

Namrata Kapoor
Namrata Kapoor
Namrata quit her full-time job to write, cook, study and travel. You could say she's having an existential crisis (and you wouldn't be half wrong), but she really looks at it as finally living the life she was always meant to live. Namrata has since launched her very own creating writing company, Could Be Verse, and now spends her days typing out 500 words a minute like a damn lunatic and wears forgiving pants.
