Nestled amongst trees this (almost) open-air joint is great. The creative fusion food they serve here is so amazing, it’s hard to believe it’s healthy. Besides breakfast, the must-haves here are the Bajra Riso, Multigrain Kichada and low fat raspberry cheesecake. This is a veg only place but that 4.6 rating on Zomato is well earned.
Tien, Model Colony
A small, cozy joint with a few tables indoors and a larger section outdoors, Tien has a very loyal following in the city. They serve a mean Masala Chai to start with. The mushroom, broccoli and quinoa bowl is great. The best part about their menu is the “Create your own Bowl” option where you can choose different protein options with your choice of sauce and carbs. Yum!
Callow, Kalyani Nagar
Beautifully done up with lights everywhere, this is a hit with the younger crowd. The juices are all cold pressed and taste perfect. Grilled sandwiches and super thin pizzas are served here, just in case you were looking for something with a little more bite. You have to try the popsicles that are made in house with flavors like, Raspberry lemonade, Gummy Worms and Watermelon. Refreshing and original to say the least.
One O Eight Café, Koregaon Park
All organic and fresh ingredients here. This place is great for breakfast options; the Big Brekky and Poach on Pesto are spot on. Toasted sandwiches on Nachini bread are yummy and filling. They have coffee and fresh juices too. A dessert counter with healthy options is also available.
Probably the only place in Pune which has the calories of each item written right next to the price on the menu. This is a lesser-known place, but with options like Sweet Potato Chaat, Roast Chicken Afghani Sandwich and Homemade low-fat Tiramisu, you can’t miss this one. Just like the calories, the prices are pretty reasonable too.
