HASVA PHASVI
Dilip Prabhavalkar wrote this masterpiece of a play and also acted in it. The revived play has acclaimed young actor Pushkar Shotri playing the six roles. The play is about a function held to honour a legendary singing actor and how different characters disturb the show, in an amusing way. The play has been directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni.

SATYASHODHAK
This is a critically acclaimed play showcasing the thoughts and life of the great educationist Jyotiba Phule who championed the cause of women education. Written by renowned Marathi writer Late G.P Deshpande or GoPu, the play has been directed by Atul Pethe and produced by the PMC Worker’s Union.

SCREENING OF THE FILM ‘BEFORE I WAS ME’
Open Space will be playing host to the screening of the film ‘Before I was Me’ and later, one might be able to have an interaction and discussion with the film’s British maker, Laila Khan. This debut film of Khan is about a man suffering from Gender Dysphoria and his early journey on discovering who he really is. Khan’s production company The Brainworks Picture Company is all about bringing good cinema with a purpose to educate and entertain. Admission is free for all.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CONFERENCE AT SYMBIOSIS INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
It will be interesting to attend an International Relations Conference on ‘India and Development Partnerships in Asia and Africa: Towards a New Paradigm’. This is conducted with the support of the Public Diplomacy Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The Honourable Vice-President of India, Shri M.Hamid Ansari will inaguarate the conference, while Honourable President of Afghanistan, Shri Hamid Karzai will grace the function and also deliver keynote address.
